Draft EIR Scoping Meeting

The City will hold an in-person scoping meeting, with online Zoom capabilities, to: (1) inform the public and
interested agencies about the Project, and (2) solicit public comment on the scope of the environmental issues
to be addressed in the Draft EIR, as well as the range of alternatives to be evaluated. No action will be taken
on the Project at the scoping meeting. The sole purpose of the scoping meeting is for interested parties to be
introduced to the Project, to ask questions about the Project, and to provide feedback regarding the scope of
what CEQA topics should be assessed in the upcoming Draft EIR. The intent of the scoping meeting is not to
receive comments on the merits of the Project or to hear testimony in support or opposition to the Project.
Interested parties are strongly encouraged to submit written comments via email or letter.

It is anticipated, but is not yet determined, that in early 2027, through public notice and hearings, the Planning
Commission will review the Draft EIR and accept comments on the adequacy of the Draft EIR. Subsequently,
through noticed public hearings, the Planning Commission will review the Project and the Final EIR and provide
recommendations to the City Council, who will then take action on the Project, including consideration of the
Final EIR, at noticed public hearings.
