The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) is currently leading the development of a Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan (CMCP) for State Route 113 and State Route 12. This planning effort, which began in June 2026, evaluates the long-term infrastructure, safety and transit options to maximize baseline agricultural, commercial and local commuter traffic.
While a definitive relocation has not been finalized, a potential realignment of Highway 113 would alter Dixon’s layout and push development farther east. Evaluating alternative routes such as Pedrick Road, Midway Road or Robben Road would help divert through traffic away from downtown.
Because this realignment project is intertwined with external regional projects like California Forever and the Solano Shipyards, the City of Dixon is partnering with the STA, Caltrans and Solano County to ensure local priorities are addressed throughout this process.
